As someone who has eaten at over 175 Thai restaurants across the country, my standards are high. The Thai Basil stir-fry had great flavor but was light on portions and heavy on rice. The Pad Kee Mao was served in a solid portion with plenty of chicken, though the flavor depth was just ok and it needed more vegetables. The egg rolls came without dipping sauce, leaving them plain and bland. There is potential here, and the average diner will find it fine, but as a Thai food enthusiast, it’s a 6 out of 10—not bad, but nothing to write home about.

Not only is this the best Thai food in Ann Arbor, it's probably the best in Michigan. The vibes are unmatched also. Here's why I love this place: -The staff are friendly. -The food is amazing. I feel like I'm back in Thailand. The ingredients are spot on. Very fresh. -Vegetarian options. -The canned fruit juice is pure juice, sugar free. -The presentation is awesome. -Served in nice compostable brown boxes, sometimes with a recyclable plastic lid if it's liquidy. -Lots of spice level options. Find what works for you. -A food truck really captures the street food vibes of Thailand. อร่อยมาก!!

This is the new food truck behind the York parking lot :) I had seen it open a few times before, but the menu text was kind of small, and I always felt awkward walking up because I thought they might expect me to order right away 😂 So I just stood there looking from a distance a few times before finally trying it today. The portions are huge and the food is really good! Also, with the weather this hot, I can only imagine how hot it must be inside the truck — seriously, respect to the people working there 🥵 One warning though: the spicy level is REALLY spicy 🌶️ I couldn’t finish it and had to go home and add extra rice and eggs just to survive lol I do think it would help if the menu text was a little bigger so people could comfortably stop and look at it while walking by! When I went today, there were actually quite a lot of people ordering already :)

This may be the best Pad Thai I've had outside of thailand. I love it because it is close to home now that they are permanently behind york. The ladies have been incredibly sweet and helpful every time I've been there. I have taken several friends and they have all loved it. Highly recommend!

Excellent Thai food in Ann Arbor. Fresh and authentic ingredients, fast, hot, delicious. Mango sticky rice is far better than any other I’ve tried in Ann Arbor. Staff is friendly. It is a food truck outside of York (replaced the old Bao Boys truck). Take out style, lots of seating at York (indoors and outdoors) to enjoy your food.
